Product Description
Oxygen Purge Chamber PC2000-24 Inert Atmosphere for Tig Welding Reactive Metals The CK PC2000-24 115 volt Flexible Purge Chamber is used in the Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) process to provide a completely inert atmosphere for the welding of reactive metals such as titanium, molybdenum, nickel-based and aluminum-based alloys, as well as non-reactive metals like stainless-steel. Unique to the PC2000-24 design is the ability to draw a vacuum around the product to be welded by collapsing the chamber. The chamber is then filled through a perforated hose that encircles the bottom of the chamber allowing the argon gas to expel allatmospheric gases more effectively through the top valve port. This significantly reduces the time required to reach an inert atmosphere suitable for welding, while using considerably less gas than traditional rigid purge chambers.
