Battery Powered GOWELD uses DC power from 2 (or 3) 12V rechargeable batteries (automobile or deep cycle type) to weld steel or aluminum. GOWELD can also be used as a spool gun for conventional CV welding power sources utilizing an accessory voltage regulator. For most applications we recommend Sealed, Non-spillable, Deep Cycle, Rechargeable lead acid batteries with Amp hour ratings (Ah) ranging from about 26Ah to 55Ah. Battery powered portable welder batteries are not included.
